Computer Building Services
Eric Lontz is part of the AREA 51 team and our hardware and computer specialist. Eric enjoys building custom machines for specialized uses such as video and music production. He also constructs computers for personal use and can design a machine to your specifications.
"I originally brought Eric on board Area 51 to be my advisor regarding immediate computer questions. I quickly found out that he had built many different computers, and enjoyed doing so. I asked him to put together a studio package for me to consider for our Studio Editing computer. I told him it would need to specifically be able to handle Adobe Creative Suite 5 and two other CG programs used by Area 51 Productions. He came back to me a few days later with a MONSTER of a machine that would rock most production companies. I was surprised to hear the price tag was far less than what I had estimated a computer of this type to cost. Eric explained to me it is always cheaper to build a computer than to buy one from a store. From that moment, Eric agreed to come on the team as our Computer Hardware Specialist.
